A 20-minute test that can give you one.
QB Check is an FDA-cleared, computer-based assessment that measures the three things clinicians look at when diagnosing ADHD: attention, impulsivity, and motor activity. You take it from home. A licensed Klarity provider reviews your results. You walk away with something concrete to work with, not another inconclusive checklist.

What QB Check measures
Most ADHD tools are self-report questionnaires. You score them, your provider scores them, and everyone agrees the answer is “maybe.” QB Check is different. While you complete a focused attention task on a computer, an infrared motion tracker quietly records your movement. The software analyzes how often you respond correctly, how often you respond when you shouldn't, and how much you shift in your seat.
Those three measures (attention, impulsivity, motor activity) are exactly what clinicians look at when diagnosing ADHD. Published validation studies show QB Check distinguishes adults with ADHD from those without it with around 85% accuracy. That's why it's used in over 1,000 clinics worldwide and cleared by the U.S. FDA as a Class II medical device.
QB Check on its own is not a diagnosis. It's the most measurable piece of the picture, and it gives the Klarity provider reviewing your results something objective to work from instead of a self-quiz.

- An objective read on your attention. Your performance compared to people your age and sex, in numbers, not vibes.
- A provider-reviewed report. Written in plain English. Yours to keep. Yours to share with any doctor you choose.
- A real next step. Whether that's “this is consistent with ADHD, here's what to do” or “this looks like something else, here's where to look,” you won't be left guessing.
- A done-from-home experience. No four-month waitlist. No fluorescent waiting room. No taking a half day off work.
- Provider oversight, not an algorithm. A licensed Klarity clinician reads every report. Always.
QB Check works for kids age 6 and up. You'll fill out the symptom history with input from your child where it makes sense. They take the test at the computer with you nearby. A Klarity provider experienced in reading pediatric scores reviews the results against age- and sex-matched norms.
If you're considering medication for your child, the report can go to their pediatrician, or you can book a consultation with a Klarity provider for evaluation and next steps. You're not signing up for anything beyond the test today.

Why families have trusted Klarity since 2016
- FDA-cleared technology. QB Check is cleared by the U.S. FDA as a Class II medical device for use in the assessment of ADHD. It's used in over 1,000 clinics across more than 20 countries.
- Licensed clinicians, every time. Every QB Check at Klarity is reviewed by a licensed mental health provider. Not auto-scored. Not sent to you raw. Read by a human who can read between the lines.
- Built on validation data. Independent studies show QB Check correctly distinguishes adults with ADHD from those without it in around 85% of cases, with comparable performance in pediatric populations. No test is perfect, and very few ADHD tools have this level of objective data behind them.
- HIPAA-protected from end to end. Your test, your results, and your notes stay in your encrypted patient record. We don't release information to insurance, employers, or schools unless you request and sign for the release.
- Founded by a physician. Klarity opened in Indianapolis in 2016 under Dr. Melissa Reed, built around one idea: patients deserve real answers, faster.
